this is the first time i used the granular gel in two stages, or basically two layers. i'm used to using the liquitex glass beads medium, but this is finer and there are more granules in it, so you don't need as much. it's by golden, so that's probably why!

i mixed the granular gel with various blues, yellows and reds and put them on, let them dry and then a final layer of bumpy paint and let dry. you have achieved incredibly texture! if you haven't tried acrylic mediums, you should! it adds another dimension to paintings, literally! LOL
