I thought I would show you guys something that I've done before awhile back. This is my own custom HO scale model of Thomas from the Railway Series. It was made from a Bachmann Thomas with a Bachmann James's footplate glued in & modified. After I've cut the front of Thomas's footplate, I then glued on the footplate from James and also modified it a bit. Once that was done, I then painted the footplate black. I also colored in the buffers silver to make Thomas look more like himself in the Railway Series. I even glued an extra lamp iron on top of his smokebox and drilled out his cab windows. I gest it still needs a little more work on it, but I'll get to it when I have to time for it.
