Here it is, my custom HO scale model of a realistic looking Thomas the Tank Engine. Some of the pieces like the body shell were from Shapeways, and the chassis I used was from a Hornby Thomas. And the face was from a Wooden Thomas. I also made this little base for him to sit on. (Link: HO Scale Track Base by Merritt-Trainboy on DeviantArt ) The reason where I decided to make this model, is because I wanted to get the idea of what Thomas would really look like in real life. I hope you guys think this looks really neat.
