it doesn't matter if has bones or not.. is an obj so is compatible with xps-xnalara.. you posted the obj generated from the w2ent tool and that kind of mtl file is not supported by xna..

MerryMerrill In reply to Oo-FiL-oO [2015-08-16 17:26:51 +0000 UTC]

Idk why mtl isn't supported by xna and i can't do anything to fix it

Oo-FiL-oO In reply to MerryMerrill [2015-08-16 17:52:19 +0000 UTC]

No, wait, mtl is supported by xna. but not that kind generated by the tool you used..

I don't know why, cause i didn't used any special tools

Oo-FiL-oO In reply to MerryMerrill [2015-08-16 18:13:47 +0000 UTC]

did you used W2ent converter 2.1? Thay is the reason
that tool writes a mtl that xna can't understand.. so to make it compatible you have to import the obj exported from W2ent converter in any 3dprogram, fix the textures and export again

Hm... Well, I used 2.0

I'm curious as to why they're being uploaded to XNALara-Customized then?

Lol, idk, but why not

she posted the obj generated from the w2ent tool and that kind of mtl file is not supported by xna.. you should import the obj in 3dmax or blender, apply the textures and export again for xna-xps compatibility

I'm well aware of what it is, Fil. I actually just import it into DAZ Studio, I actually don't need XPS but it is merely a middle-man to get OBJs of models if I can't find another source otherwise, so these work nicely.

But bottom line is; these are not XPS models and should not be posted in the related groups regardless if you can import OBJs into the program or not.
