Fun fact, the real life scientist, Nikolai Basov, for which he is named after, was the inventor of the maser and the laser came shortly after. This is why he has such an awesome name!

Name: Nicolai Basov

Gender: Male

Animal/Breed: Radioactive Russian Blue Kitten

Age: 8 weeks in normal cat aging time, compare to 5 years in human mind

Physical: 9 inches long and 6 inches tall. Fast and energetic.

Personality: Outgoing kitten, rude when confronted, and will fight, but very nice to his friends. He is from Moscow, Russia and still a small child, so he speaks with the Russian accent but has a child's lisp. Poor thing is very hard to understand when he talks fast, which is most of the time.

History: His mother resorted to radioactive fish because of the horrid living conditions and fed this to her kittens.

He started having strange things happen and his tail becomes the bones of the fish he ate. On his seventh week he was playing with his brother and accidentally discovers his maser beam, then he was turned away by his family, who are afraid of him. At the end of his eighth week, he notices a new, mysterious poster plastered on an old building. It invited him to RIOCT, where he was reunited with someone.

Power: He has grown to find his ability to use a radioactive laser (maser), but only uses it as a last resort for bigger foes.

Strengths: He is very small and fast, able to hide away in small places and make his foes dizzy with his scrambling. If he is caught by an enemy he can give out radioactive waves, which burn skin. Nikolai can use all his cat-like abilities, which include flexibility, climbing, biting, scratching, and jumping.

Weaknesses: Nikolai is very strong-willed, preferring to attack and get his way. He only fights when backed into a corner, though. If you can hit him, he will fall over, he has a soft body- he is just a baby kitten! Also, his radioactive attacks are much less effective in the rain and underwater.

Extra: All those yellow-green parts: eyes, mouth, maser, eye of fish skull when in maser mode, paw pads, and claws can glow. This comes in handy when he is in the dark.
