Perhaps someone can explain something to me... I keep seeing fanart of these characters, or characters who have a similar vibe to these, under different names for the series. I've seen "heaven official blessing" "scum villain something" "demon something other" and "mo dao zu shi" but as I don't know Chinese that doesn't help me. And if I click on the #mxtx tag here (and I don't know what that stands for), I get all of the above. Are they all the same thing with different translation names or are they different series?

There is an online Chinese author named MXTX, and they wrote:
-Scum Villain Self Saving System (I don't know the Chinese title)
-Mo Dao Zu Shi (translated Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation)
-Tian Guan Ci Fu (translated Heaven Officials Blessing)
But there are other Chinese authors writing novels in the same genre.Β
