it's been like what, a year or so since i last drew sonic fan art? gah, who cares; look how cute he is! X3fun fact: tails is one of my most favorite video game characters ever
he's just so adorable ^3^ and i actually like his voice XP and i needed to draw something for the furry drawing marathon , so i thought "i must draw tails as a cyberpunk!" my only regret is drawing his glove on the one hand >.< it would of looked better without it, but i was having trouble drawing the mechanical hand at that angle, so i cheated and just slapped a glove on

Meet M1-LES, also known as Tails, the last of the Class 2 Biodroids.
Tails is an advanced robot with synthetic flesh over a robotic skeleton and frame.
Although M1-LES is equipped with advanced hacking and repair technology, he is considered
to be old and outdated compared to the newer Class 3 Biodroids. Tails' original synthetic arms
were lost due to corrosion during his time in storage, so he has replaced theme with spare synthskin-less
Class 3 arms. M1-LES has modified himself with an extra tail to facilitate faster hacking.
His tails can spin to provide flight, and can separate into cords to hack into devices.
M1-LES can hold his own against a Class 3, but holds the weakness against EMP devices that all Class 2s have.

Hmm.... I thought that due to the cable-like tails, the robo-eyes, prosthetic limbs,
he would do good as a cyborg robot. Hmmm... What about this:
All Biodroids are created by FUSING living "volunteers" to robotic skeletons and parts. (kinda like the Bioshock Big Daddies)
Class 1s were a failed attempt, and after refining the fusing process, the Class 2s were created, combining the flexibility and versatileness of organic Mobians with the "plug-in-and-use" tech and strength of robots. Tails in particular was nearly killed in a raid by some thugs on his workshop in Square 11 (some dystopian future Station Square copy, the 11th away from Square 1, the capitol and the worst crime rate is in the city). He was revived by some of the Biodroid Corporation and converted into a Class 2 Biodroid, then put into storage for future use. To disguise his former identity(for possible use in the military) Miles was given a code number and was designated M1-LES. M1-LES was forgotten about due to the Class 3's release. 10-some years later he was reactivated by members of the Rebellion for use to overthrow the corrupt government of Square 1. M1-LES was favored by Sonic the Hedgehog, squad leader of Squad 0, the elite resistance team of the Rebellion. As a result, Sonic requested Tails be assigned to Squad 0.

and like i said, our headcannons for this subject are VERY different from each other

Excellent job, I always figured that this would be the direction Tails would take as he would either get older, or in a futuristic conceptual world.
My favorite part about this drawing is the eyes, it's like the Sonic version of the Illusive Man's eyes from Mass Effect.
