Rarity is a seamstress, her special talent is... I think beautification? Gems? I'm not sure. She's cultured, fancy, etc. With most ponies/classes, there was the consideration of skills and whatnot - but who among the team does Rarity match better?
I had conisdered Rarity as Sniper (precision needlework) but I didn't know if I could justify that one as well as I could Snipershy. On the inverse, I had also considered Fluttershy as Spy (Flutterspy) due to his ability to hide, cloak, and disable sentry nests - however, I also figure back-stabbing is a more painful method of death than being shot in the head (not sure on that), so I wasn't certain.
Rarity likes to dress up, she likes to blend in, so disguises suit her. A changeling might fit Spy better, but Mane 6 take priority at all times, and I could not think of a better place to put Rarity.
