I think you should have one more look at the beginning of the comic, back at Canterlot, when Twilight tries telling AJ about something worrying her.
And later she blames Twilight for not telling her.

Can someone tell me why Twilight wants to kill herself and not let the guy they are talking with do it instead. Why would Twilight or Big Mac want to die when there is a pony who is less loved willing to do it.

If AJ and Rarity especially had bothered to be more "open ears" at the beginning, in Canterlot, things might have gone slightly better.
Instead of both waving off and walking away from a worried Twilight who was trying to tell them something.

Did you ever stop to think, AppleJack, that sometimes there is no other way?
I hate to be ranty, but that's an argument I hate. You see it a lot in Anime and Cartoons with Super Heroines or Magical Girls.
When you agree to be the hero, you agree to put YOUR LIFE on the line and agree to make yourself last. If you are to die for the good of others, then you shall walk into that Valley of Death with your head held high. If you cannot do that, if you cannot understand that the world is more important than ONE person, if you are not willing to make that sacrifice, you are not a hero.
I understand that my counterargument has several paradoxes and counterarguments in and of itself, but I do hate that scenario being played the way it has been.

Oh, really? Worth more than all the other's who are counting on you? Who are believing in you?Β
Sometimes, there IS NO OTHER WAY.

A hero agrees to put their own life on the line but not the lives of others. It's different when it's the lives of your friends that you have to sacrifice. Besides that, I don't think AJs really thinking about the big picture right now. I mean, he friend is beaten half to death, he then watches her die, only to be beaten to a pulp, then fin out her friend isn't dead at all...an now said friend wants to sacrifice her life.
That's a lot of crap to go down in a week.Β You can't blame her for being a little short sighted.

I do agree. And you are right. It's not simple. It's not mathematical. However, sometimes sacrifices are unavoidable, and if one is going to the heat of battle, they should be prepared for that inevitability.
Now, the Mane 6, probably aren't, because THIS was not what they were expecting when this week began. So, I understand AppleJack's emotions and her response.

Being as a Element of Honesty, Im sure its to know AJ is hurting more when Twilight lied about a lot of things. So I am kinda sure it will be hard for her to trust Twilight from this point on.

I think that's one of the things that got Metal so upset awhile back, actually. Β Readers just kept on buggling him about this comic needing a happy ending, and he kept saying that this wasn't the cartoon, so it wouldn't have a stereotypical happy ending, and it would have the ending that HE hasd planned.
Which was only right, as it's HIS comic, and HIS storyline, after all.
So, even if it's NOT Twilight OR Big Mack (or whoever BESIDES who Metal has planned to make that Ultimate Sacrifice), it's NOT gonna end happily for someone.
No matter WHO it is.
