Surprise gift for . After he made a drawing that was inspired by one of my pics--I just HAD to draw something of my own about it... and it led to this picture of Hippocamp-Darius and Samson parodying an iconic scene from Disney's "The Little Mermaid."

I can see what inspired you to draw this picture though.
Oh man, what can I say about this picture. Everything about it is beautiful. 
I imagine that this happens similar to the movie. Samson nearly dies in a shipwreck, but Darius saves him. On the shore, Darius sees how gorgeously handsome Samson is. He even fits up the panther's shirt to see his body.

I was rather pleased with how Darius came out too, although I had some difficulty with Samson. Although that was because Darius' hands covered up so much of his head.
