Remake of: www.deviantart.com/metalexveem…I decided to just go on with remaking a few old pics, and figured why not do a continuation of the first time Roger met the Ninja-ken?
But oooooooh *BOY*, did I go through a lot of trouble with the pose for Roger and Tora! I made *FIVE* different sketches of Tora carrying Roger... before realizing I liked the very first one the most (rendering all the others pointless, d'oh). Not only that, but I kept on having to erase and re-draw certain lines and details until I was relatively satisfied. Thankfully, I had less trouble with Haku, he came out surprisingly easy.
As you may notice when comparing the old and new versions, the reason I don't have Tora speaking in this one is because I figured his facial expression was doing all the talking necessary. Oh yes, and while I usually don't like to add in mouth-lines for gagged characters, I figured, just this once, I'd do it. Just to make it clear that Roger's smiling. x3
But dang, Haku's a *hulk*. It makes the fact that Roger was able to last as long as he did against the Tosa all the more impressive. Or at least *I* think so.

I see that Tora is already becoming fascinated with Roger.
And I agree that Haku is a hulk, and a hunk!
I wonder who the masters are. They may not favor an outsider like Roger, especially since he's on the Rovers team.

Lol, I have to admit, I was rather surprised but pleased with how Tora's face came out in this one. How he looks so adoring, but in a kinda dopey way.
Roger is unconscious, but that hasn't stopped him from smiling, because right before he passed out, he opened his eyes and realized he was tied up, gagged, shirtless, and being held in the arms of the beautifully muscled, fundoshi-clad brindle Akita he had been checking out earlier. The level of hotness was too much for the already light-headed GSD (thanks to Haku body-slamming him in the gut, knocking the wind out of him), and he fainted. But he continued smiling.
Lol! Hulky, hunky Haku! ;D I'll bet anything looks too tight on him anyway. xD
The masters are the human owners of the Ninja-ken. They're ninjas too, and I *think* they occasionally go on missions with their dogs, but I'm not sure. So far I've only been interested in the missions where just the dogs go on, so I'll have to check with ToonTorment. 
But I don't know, I think if the scenario were just right, the masters *might* be convinced to allow Tora to keep Roger... although since its the current situation, yeah, they'd probably be like, "No, you put him back where you found him!" or something like that.

I have been wondering, though, do you ship Rex with Roger? I mean, I never thought about Rex being romantically involved with anyone, although I suppose if I had, I would have put him with Chomper (y'know, cuz of how they're supposed to be versions of the red/blue canomutants). ;D
Does Kaiser even count, though? I mean, he is a robot. I can buy he'd feel friendship for Roger, but can he feel romantic feelings for anyone? The only robot I can remember falling in love, or at the very least expressing a crush, would be XR from "Buzz Lightyear of Star-Command." But that was done for more humorous reasons, and Kaiser is a very different robot from XR. ^^

I guess I worded it wrong. What I really meant is Roger has a lot of friends. And I know Blitz's heart belongs to Kumori (at least in our series). But hey, that doesn't mean he can't show Roger some love. Albeit not in a romantic sense. Rex is basically the same way. He's not romantically in love with Roger. But he loves him as a sibling. And yeah... About Tsunami, I guess I REALLY got my words mixed up. Tsunami is not romantically interested in Roger. But he does value him as a teammate, a student, and as family. Truth be told, Kaiser CAN feel love. But he doesn't know how to express it. He may be a machine. But he's not totally emotionless. And he's no stranger to love.
