Now, as some of you may know, I'm a great fan of the series "Gargoyles" (one of the greatest, if not *the* greatest, shows that Disney ever produced), yet I've not made any fanart of it yet.

Well, that all ends now. Mostly I haven't drawn "Gargoyles" stuff yet mostly because I was uninspired of what to draw, until I saw this pic: metalexveemon.deviantart.com/a... From there on, I found myself imagining a very strong rivalry between Griff and Raven, the show's only two bird-gargoyles (or at least I think they're the only bird-gargoyles, there are still some episodes I haven't seen in awhile).

And then I imagined a scene which I tried to depict in this pic: Raven decides to kidnap Griff, and does so by flying after him and pinning both an arm and a wing behind his back, and taking hold of his other wing.

Raven: "There! Now you have only one wing left. You have no choice but to come fly with me!"

As for how Griff gets out of this one, he could do one of two things: try to fight Raven off and risk crippling his wing and falling to his death; or to allow himself to be flown to wherever his rival wishes to take him. Some choice, right?

Btw, a few opinions I have on each character:

Griff, to this day, is still one of the handsomest, sexiest, funniest, and most bad@$$ of all the gargoyles - and he's got an English accent to boot!

Raven easily has the most questionable wardrobe out of all the gargoyles with questionable wardrobes (and if you watch some of his scenes in slow motion, you'll know why ).
