Description
A scratchbuilt warhammer 40k sentinel. It was made from paper (templates can be found on several sites), wire and some lollypop-sticks. I am pretty happy with the result and I think it is good enough to play some battles with. Here is a picture of the original miniature on which it is based: [link]

Very nice work! As Snowfyre said earlier, it is almost identical to the original.

Damn that's awesome. I quite Warhammer a few years ago because everything was so expensive! I wish I had thought of this then

Cheers. I'm working on some other scratchbuilt stuff. You really should give it a go, since it's inexpensive and you can give the models a more original look.

Nice, and it's mostly paper? I've been saying it's possible to make an army without paying GW's prices for years, and here's a good way to do so it seems

Yeah, I agree. GW prices are abnormally high. A tank for 50 dollars? No thanks! Mostly I use converted plastic units, used models or scratchbuilt models. I recently finished a scratchbuilt paper Dreadnaught and i'm working on a paper Tau Devilfish too.

Both bases are actually the same as both pictures are the same Sentinel: unpainted and painted

Both are very nice detail, I don't play warhammer but do like mechs.
The green has a better base than the tan one though..
