So, I was fiddling with the Infamous Intent sprites and decided to make a simple Mega Man Neo "8-Bit" running animation (I quoted 8-Bit b/c....Let's be honest, this would not be on a NES due to the colors I've chosen XD). Anyway, you may think that this is the running animation for Mega Man in the original fan game and technically it is, but I made some edits (obviously) and it mostly regards with his head. His head is turning, something the original sprite(s) didn't do. It was a small edit I did really. If you are wondering why there is a appearing-disappearing black line behind his head, it's where his hair is but the arm blocks it. It...looks a little odd really.Previously, the sprite was very small, but I decided to resize it and now it looks bigger.
Anyhow, I did not completely make this sprite. I used Infamous Intent's sprites as a base and edited all over it, so credit to them for the original base.

Cool design, but the head is shaking side to side way too much. You wouldn't do that while running.

Eh, you kinda would. Most look straight ahead while some might move their head a little to the side.
Of course, this was just me playing around with the sprites. Of course it's not going to look right (especially since I'm no sprite artist and this was done MOOOOONTHS ago. lol XD)

Did you made this? Didn't you stated that you don't make pixel art sprites?

They didn't fully create this, they only edited someone's base for the IFI sprites.

I used the Mega Man sprite sheet from a cancelled fan-game called Mega Man: Infamous Intent. On their tumblr page, they gave away free-to-use assets from the game after cancelling it, the majority sprite sheets being one of the many assets released.
I did state that I didn't make pixel art sprites, but I started trying recently. I did make some small edits with these running animation, given that in the original sprite animation, Mega Man's head did not turn like it does here. I edited those head turning sprites in there to make it look different (and more reminiscent of the Neo Geo Mega Man sprites from Rockman Battle & Fighters). Obviously, I did some major color edits and such. I used Game Maker Studio to help make the animations (as well as sprite editing). This took 3 hours...3. HOURS!!! Pretty long ass time. I tried to resize it so it'd be big enough to work as my avatar, but I was not satisfied with the low quality of my work, so I said "screw it" and decided to post the original size here on DA. Obviously, this sprite animation isn't quite perfect since I think something's off with the hands, but that's what happens when you attempt to draw the ZX fingerless glove thing on 8-Bit sprites. Still, I think it looks pretty good, wouldn't you agree?
