I wish Deviantart didn't force the black background on gifs now... I want to upload them with transparent backgrounds. Oh well.

Working on the animations for my custom Megaman project. I wanted to maintain the fluidity and smoothness of Megaman 7's run cycle, and the higher detail of Megaman 11's design, but with the snappiness and compact nature of the classic 8-bit four frame cycle. I feel like I struck a good balance here.

Speaking of 8-bit. This sprite still only uses five colors, same as the traditional Megaman sprite. I just used a darker shade of orange so the white can give it more depth and it can be used in other parts of the sprite.
