i looks so abstract at first glance, but you look harder into it and find a deeper meaning.

A dancer dancing. Simple and clean. I like it.

I love these figure pieces! Superior. Unfortunately, I've lost myself in your gallery. I will have to put you on my watch list! Fav added!

wow. he (i use he but i put no judgement on the sex of this figure) appears so lonely to me. completely wrapped in himself. withdrawn as much as possible. what a sad picture for me.

Sorry, I hit a wrong button
But as I was saying, I know exactly what you mean when you say that you break from yourself, because it is the same for me. Its as if the whole world around you disappears and your being is concentrated on creating the world in front of you, is it not something like that? I used to rely heavily on intuition but I've discovered what a useful tool rational cognition is in the creative process.
Alot of my work doesn't have a meaning either, I mean it has a personal meaning, but its not really something to be described in words, it is what it is visually if you know what I mean, its its own language. Sometimes I work losely around a particular concept or message I want to get across but I just let intuition take me there while problem solveing cognitively along the way. Its funny, sometimes I just throw a meaning out there to see what other people will say, but what it comes down to is the each person will perceive a work of art differently so why waste time with words?
I think that you would benifite greatly if you looked into your own creative process to figure out how you do things and make decissions while creating. Where does your work come from and where is it going? It is actually very useful and, I think, would help you take your work to new levels. 8)

This is probably my favorite peice in your gallery. Not to mention I have respect for anything done in oils. There is something very intamit and dramatic about it. The lone figure of the dancer, is she dancing? Is this just a captured moment in her languide movements? In her own world of red up on the stage? Why the color red I wonder? Has she evoked this whole crimson mood with her dance? The colors give it the whole dramatic feel. I like the position she is in, hiding the face, it seems to convey what dancers do, express emotion and communicate with their body language. I noticed that with this peice and the other one similar to this that you payed attention to giving the figure more realism showing the muscles and dents in the skin. I have a love of the human figure in art, alot of my own art is based around it. Great work!

well thank you....heh,don't know what to do with all the questions you have here....
how can i put things simplly? - while i am painting is the only time that i don't think....i think it is my break from my self, from the ego.....most probablly there are answers but something in me just says that i should just leave it as it is...
after the painting is finished i feel it,but i don't understand it with the mind...i have the feeling that i don't need to.i also feel that my work is not trying to say something-it just is and works strait on the feeling level....
hmmm,does that make any sense?

Sure it makes sense, people have different creative processes stemming mainly from a combination of either intuition or cognition. You just happen to rely more heavily on intuition, you let go of your concsious self and allow your subconicous to flow through your artistic skills. I know exactly wha

beautifully done! the red is outstanding, expecially since there is a tad bit of green near the top on the body. what kind of new era did this piece bring you?
