Yup, can't complain though. this is the hundred year flood. Glad I witnessed it. Tomorrow I'll help clean up. I hope to run into the national guard and have the opportunity to help.

They're basically going to have to crunch the roads up to be sure there's no more parts that just haven't fallen, and repave.

I don't see repaving anytime soon but we'll crunch it and fill with rubble. Hell, I'll be out there with my dad's tractor unless my brother in law gets it first....damn him!!!!

That's sinkhole or washout damage there. The water got under the asphault and washed out the dirt underneath.

lol, my brother in law (Guy in camo) was listening to the water rushing under the road moments before it collapsed. I wonder how they plan to fix the roads for the short term. I'm guessing that gravel bank owners are making a killing..and they should!

Yeah, probably gravel for short term, or sand. That at least can be mixed into the asphault when the time comes.

No doubt we will have a lot of dirt roads that were previously paved!
