Good Lord, What have I done!So, I know some people have drawn Crocomire pictures similar to this before but I don't think anybody has ever drawn the part where his crumbling skeleton breaks through the wall. That scene in Super Metroid was always one of my favorites, a very memorable sequence in a game full of very memorable sequences. I wanted it to look like his melting skin was cooling and partially hardening to his bones, nasty...
I always felt a little sorry after Crocomire died, poor little bastard.

wait what if he never fully died and his soul went to find a new body, because nothing that is just bone can move.( unless magic is fused with it)

Even though he was a bad guy working for the Space Pirates, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Crocomire. He just died by having his skin melted off by lava, followed by his skeleton collapsing into bones, much like Dry Bones (from Mario).

Something I must note: I tried going in the liquid in Crocomire's area with the Gravity Suit on...still took damage. So it's not lava...it's acid.

One of the few cases of actual gore in a Metroid game I really love this scene in the game, and you've done it justice. Unsettling for sure!

Not sure whether this was the easiest Metroid boss ever, or that one eyed transparent thing from Fusion. Or maybe Ridley from Zero Mission (All I had to do was pound him with missiles in one strike and he was dead as dinner)

I always thought this series had a bit of creepy pasta to it. This scene and the melted face of Nightmare were the creepiest.

How did I miss this one? Wow, this is something to really look at and see such detail on, well, everything! I like that you added the ceiling door btw.
Crocomire is up there as one of my faves in the Metroid series. Yeah, it was a memorable little sequence of his skeleton
breaking through the wall, his form (almost ghostly) falling toward Samus.
Though it doesn't appear that he burst through the wall here, I recall that you prefer not to make exact copies of certain scenarios whether it's in a game or movie.

I always feel sorry for him too... If it weren't for the fact that he'll kill you, I would find it very hard to kill him. Awesome drawing, man! Brings back memories.

I often fight Crocomire before taking on Mother Brain. In other words, I can get to the Wrecked Ship without the Grappling Beam using some trick with the Speed Booster. Also, in addition to Spore Spawn (the miniboss of Brinstar), you can skip Gold Torizo by taking the opposite route after going into Lower Norfair.

I loved this part in Super Metroid Dissolve the all the flesh off of that annoying guys bones it is very well remembered. Power bombs piss him off when you use them.

Fantastic use of perspective and light/dark colors, gives it a much more epic feeling. Love the details on the skeleton and melting skin, too.
