Definitely has the USS-Vengeance vibe to it. I'm convinced it's a section 31 design.

I can see where this idea came from.
There are many clues pointing into that direction (look of the Klingons, etc.).
But to me, this ship comes from a completely different timeline.
One where certain incidents from the original timeline didn't happen.
Like the one we're living in.

The Discovery is still an okay looking ship given it's based off of a rejected concept for the TMP Enterprise, but everything else just looks wrong to me. At least AXANAR was sticking to the design we know.

But what I've seen of it so far, reminds me more of the way we make decisions than the way it was depicted in Star Trek, so far.
And they included some hints to our recent time - which would be during the Eugenics War, if I remember the original timeline correct.
(I know, something like this happened before, but in a different way that was easier to explain in the context.)
