Description
This is the second page of a project long-time-in-the-planning, the "chapter 2" sequel to the Rimworld Power Armour Studies I did in the summer of 2020 . Many things came in the way of this project, and after several delays I allowed myself to mostly forget about it until when master Greywind started the Hesters series of commissions. Now, after a long time spent adding details to the semi-fictional colony that would serve as its backdrop, the second chapter of the Power Armour Studies is here, featuring Tiandriel, Imperial Hypatissa and Lady Consul of House Dracondar, and her colony of Eurusium.

The second page features what is probably the most time-consuming panel that I had planned, looking down into the outer cloister of Eurusium at the assembled guests and household servants who will showcase various power armour suits in the "power armour fashion show / gala". As Eurusium is going to feature repeatedly in my upcoming Rimworld art, I decided to assemble it as a Minecraft build, so that I can take screenshots whenever I need a background for the drawings. As such, first I had to build the bare minimum of the outer cloister for about 4 hours before I could embark on drawing the panel, which itself took about 8 hours to execute. This is a most valuable learning experience, allowing me to estimate how much time I need to spend on a typical comic page.
