Description
I still have three more to add and it might be four soon.
Updated Description:
I was a dumbass today and when my audio just died overall I decided to restart my computer... without saving my artwork. For a split second I forgot I was doing something in paint and then it was all gone. I got so pissed at myself for that because I'd been redrawing and modifying a base I intended to use for an owed art. I was pretty dang happy with it. So, because I got so angry at myself, I took a sketch I did of a newly adopted gem and downsized it to be added here. I'll get the next ones added once I get time.
Left to Right:
Snowflake Obsidian: A rogue gem from a colony of gems falling into the same category. Snowflake Obsidian may be small, but she's fierce in a fight and has been able to poof gems much larger than herself. She's always up to taking on tasks and has an attitude. Most gems that know her (personally or by reputation) say she doesn't have a sense of fear and usually feels inconvenienced by happenings around her. Snowflake Obsidian is a part of a colony of rogue gems that make their own rules, not governed by any ruling power (and certainly not the Diamond Authority). She runs around with Black Opal and does many shady or odd jobs for profit or to get what she wants or needs. She and Black Opal are currently being hunted by Iolite as it seems they pissed off another high status gem.
Iolite: A bounty hunter gem that works with the Diamond Authority. Iolite doesn't consider herself to have an actual alliance but says she's more inclined to ally with the Diamond Authority given her standing with them. Iolite is sassy, cold, and a loner by nature. She doesn't like being around people more than necessary. Iolite is self-taught when it comes to gem technology and seems to almost always have some kind of answer for any obstacle regarding it. Iolite is also an accomplished shapeshifter. She ended up chasing a few targets to Earth where she lost track of them. Iolite is currently staying with Red Coral and company while she works on finding her lost targets.
Imperial Topaz: A Homeworld gem from another gem colony that served as a sort of "Pearl Salesgem". While she granted other gems Pearls for a living, she grew tired of it. A change of scenery didn't help and she - on a whim - directed her ship towards Earth. She doesn't know that it's populated and that humans are a thing, believing the planet is desolate after the Rebellion thousands of years ago. Needless to say, she's in for a shock.
Conch Pearl: A Homeworld gem from another gem colony and Imperial Topaz's assistant. She's treated a bit nicer than the standard Pearl and Imperial Topaz looks out for her. Conch Pearl is actually fascinated with gem history and wants to learn more about the Rebellion, specifically. She maintained her job but felt as Imperial Topaz did about it, though she didn't know her master planned to abandon Homeworld and run off to Earth. She and Imperial Topaz are lost on Earth in more than one sense!
Pargasite: A former Crystal Gem that fought in the rebellion. Pargasite had a strong sense of foreboding that told her if she continued to fight, something bad would happen. This caused her to abandon her allies towards the end of the Rebellion and go into hiding. Pargasite stayed in hiding for many years with a Yellow Aventurine that she had picked up during the Rebellion. She came into contact with humanity and was drawn to the idea of a circus. She jumped from circus to circus as a fortune teller with her animal gem, Yellow Aventurine.
Blue Goldstone: A Homeworld gem and a skilled engineer. She was assigned to the same ship as Peridot and Jasper as a back up gem. She had no idea about the mission and was expected to continue engineer duties. When they ran into trouble she was forced to escape before she had any traction on what was going on. Stranded on Earth with no way to contact Peridot or Jasper, Blue practically resigned herself to her fate. She wandered a while before finding Ametrine who turned her life completely upside down. Stuck with the immature gem, she's learning there's more to Earth than she first thought.
Ametrine: A gem left behind when her Kindergarten was abandoned. Due to not appearing right away, she was considered a dud and left behind. Ametrine eventually manifested and spent some time alone before venturing off to see what was beyond the eerie location she was created in. She was quick to get involved with life on the planet and eventually mingled with humans. She was found by Blue Goldstone in a city where she destroyed many things by accident with her electrokinesis. She travels with Blue who she sees as a friend despite Blue using her for info about Earth. Ame is close to Blue even if Blue tries to keep distanced.
Ammolite: A former Homeworld gem left behind when she was unaccounted for when Homeworld left Earth. Ammolite's gem was found by Yellow Aventurine and kept by Pargasite until she regenerated. Ammolite quickly found that she'd missed the end of the war and realized Homeworld probably considered her shattered for her failure to make it back. Ammolite spent a while fighting Pargasite who had allied with her enemies, but Red Coral got her to stop fighting. She's been with Pargasite and Red Coral ever since, trying to grow past her Homeworld ideals and make the best of her situation since she's now free of any allegiance.
Lapis Lazuli: A neutral gem with no allegiance. She left gem society long ago in pursuit of knowledge. Lapis has visited countless worlds and studied their environments and life (if there was any), staying for many years at a time. She's been traveling the galaxy for some time and has been enjoying herself. Her newest destination is Earth to see what life the planet holds. She's quickly drawn into human cultures and expresses a love of dance as entertainment. This is currently her focus of study and it will lead her to collide with the others.

Omg, Amber is so smol compared to Ame. She's gonna have to break out her wings to have a decent conversation with her. It looks like Pargasite is trying to comfort Blue over her shortness or something. XD
I also love Ame's new look! The added yellow is great.
Btw, do you have actual measurements for their heights? I'd like to know how my gems stack up in comparison. :3

XD Downsides of knowing a quartz, right? They're so tall!
Blue doesn't mind the height difference as in she's insecure about it, but she knows it makes looking after Ametrine more difficult. XD So the others tease her about it at times.
Thanks! I felt like she needed an update, but I didn't want to change too much. ; w; I tried to balance out the massive amount of purple, so I'm glad to hear using the yellow worked!
It's hard to say since I base them around the canon characters. And their heights are difficult to judge. Ametrine's the only one with a more known height, I suppose. She's at least 8 feet tall granted what has been revealed about quartz gems. Blue at the least is supposed to be about as tall as Peridot (when she wears her limb enhancers). Everyone else is kind of fit around them. But I'm definitely going to try and figure out precise heights now. xD

True, damn tol ass Quartzes.
Ah, I get that. Dealing with overgrown children is tough.
Welcome~ Yellow is always an underused color in my book. I think people struggle with it or something. XD
Yeah I try to do the same which is why I gotta re-work my pearl. ;w; Same, it would be nice if we had some precise numbers from the official crew beyond the Quartz.

Nah man, Ame's always been taller. I blame her lower legs. xD She is taller now than she used to be, but that's another story entirely. |)
She is probably the least expressive of my gems yet also the most visibly expression with anger and annoyance, lmao. Blue does not care to look after a giant child. >:I
