Bio: Alex's origins are quite complicated..

he was originally born a robot, a cybertronian protoform
whose parents were Autobots Hot Rod and Arcee.

born in the final days of The Great War of Cybertron
(Also known as "The Great Autobot/Decepticon Civil War")
Alex was one of many Cybertronian Children that had to be sent off in stasis pods
when Megatron began to have his troops aduct young protoforms, and reprogram them.

While many Cybertronians shed tears for this grim exodus.
Hot Rod and Arcee took their child's parting the hardest
(as they he "came online" for only a few solar cycles.)

with heavy sparks, they sent their only sparling away..
and, like many pods, traversed Space and Time...FAR from Planet Cybertron.

Alex Stasis Pod found it's way to an Organic Planet called EARTH.
where he was discovered by humans Spike and Carly Witwicky.

Alex stasis pod was damaged upon planet fall.
and, when both humans touched the pod, their Human DNA was permanently assilmulated
into the Protoform's cybertronian coding..creating a "Technorganic"

Half Human, Half Robot.

the child immediatly shifted into it's new "Human Mode"
and, reacted as if it were just that: a human.

Spike and Carly promptly adopted the child.
and, raised him as if he were their own (and, in same way..he kinda was.)

For most of his life..Alex lived a somewhat normal childhood.
and, never once suspected that he was a "Robot in Disguise"

believing himself to be as Human as his "parents."

It wasn't until the Autobots and Decepticons
(who had "arrived" on Earth in prehistoric times
and, awoken from their centurie slong Stasis Lock in 1984)
that Alex soon discovered his true origins..AND, his true parentage.

For awhile..Alex suffered an identity crisis.
unable to determine if he was Robot prentending to be Human..or, a boy with "alien" abilities.

Eventually, he came to terms with his Destiny.
and, resolved to assist the Autobots in their war against the Decepticons
(despite protests from BOTH Arcee and Carly)

Optimus Prime, Leader of the Autobots
feels that even though Hot Rod may be his successor one day..

Alex's constant actions of Valor, Courage and Honor
may one day earn him the Matrix of Leadership
(making him the very first Technorganic to become a "Prime")

::UPDATE::

As luck would have it, Alex met and developed a serious crush on a teenage alien robot.

not only THAT, but the Princess-turned-Queen of Cluster Prime: VEGA.

When it became apparent that Civil War threatened Cluster Prime
(between peaceful bots that wanted to reform it into a "Republic"
and, anti-organic extremists that want tp preserve it as an "Empire of War")
Alex became concerned not only for Vega's safety..but for the future of Cluster Prime, itself.

seeing a parallel between Cluster Prime's "War Dawn"
and, the beginnings of Cybertron's own Civil War that devastated it..

Alex is taking extreme lengths to ensure that Histort DOES NOT repeat itself.

In his quest to preserve Cluster Prime's Security.
Alex uncovers secrets, long buried, of how Queen Vexus came to wage her war against Organics.

and, that the so called "Royal Villainess" may not've been the True Villain after all..

Been meaning to post THIS piece of artwork for quite some time..

Anyway, this is the OC that I created
for my 'My Life as a Teenage Robot/Transformers' crossover: "War For Cluster Prime."

Alex is basicly Vega's love interest.
who is the son of both Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime and Arce AND, Spike and Carly Witwicky
(all of which are Canon 'Transformers' characters, and "G1" originals)

Alex's technorganic state, I based off of "Sari Sumdac" from Transformers Animated
(who herself may have been based on the Technorganic state of the "Beast Wars" characters)

The idea is that Alex is a true "Cyborg"
while he is originally a Robot..he still functions like a Human

and, can shift from these forms at will
(pictured above, is his Robotic form.)

despite having a "Human Mode"
he can still transform into a vehicle mode as a robot
(his favored form is a Motorcycle, which is roughly Human Sized, anyway.)

In terms of personality..I like to think of him like a Teenage Clark Kent/Superman
but, with more of a Victor Stone/Cyborg kind of background.

Also, like I stated above in The bio..
Alex's behavior may earn him a place in the long line of Primes.

but Alex considers himself a "Soldier"..not a "Chosen Leader"
and, would prefer leaving that kind of responsibility to Optimus, or Ultra Magnus.

In terms of artwork, I tried to keep it as close to Rob Renzetti's MLAATR Art Style as possible.
while also leaving some visual cues that Alex is indeed the son of Hot Rod and Arcee.

if his helmet design doesn't sell it.
then, his Dark Pink/Dark Red colors certainly will..

you may also notice, that I tried my hand as "shading" his armor as well.

Maybe not the most PERFECT drawing..but, it's good enough.

PLEASE, no harsh flames.
and, if you must Critizise..please be Constructive, and Polite.
