Description
Despite the fatasy setting, every once in awhile the universe of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic sometimes introduces modern culture that makes one question the true "time period" of FIM.
In this case, it's Fast Food Restraunts that strike me as a parody of McDonald's or Burger King..but, with an entirely vegan menu (Hayburgers!?)
and, Apparently "PRINCESS" Twilight never learned proper food etiquette, either.

I headcanon that Celestia, when eating in front of Twilight, used absolutely horrendous table manners to get the little filly to realize she isn't some perfect, untouchable ideal given flesh.
This did not work. It only convinced her that everypony else was eating it the wrong way.

Based off the last half of a century here in the United States, declining health, rising levels of diabetes, heart problems, rising blood pressure, rising LDL levels, and a generation of ponies that have a shorter lifespan than the previous generation.

I wonder if this'll be one of Alex Jr's favorite places to go. (I know kids love going to McDonalds/Burger King, so I figure Pony kids love coming to this place.

I know that initially, they may give out toys of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, being a Princess and Elements of Harmony.
Gee..Now I wonder if the Hay Burger ever gave out toys of Celestia and Luna?
if so, I bet at least one of them complained the toy makes their "flank look fat"
(my money is on Celestia, she eats ALOT of cake, and is already called "Sun Butt", sometimes.)
In any case, Alex Jr. like to go to the Hayburger (where Pinkie Pie has a second job as the clown mascot.)

Pinkie Pie as the clown mascot (parody of Ronald McDonald) sounds hilarious.
Alex Jr. having an opportunity to see his Auntie Pinkie, sounds like a good reason for him wanting to go to the Hay Burger to me.

Being an Alicorn must mean a bigger appetite for our favorite purple egghead. Though that makes me wonder...would Celestia and Luna end up eating TWICE the amount of food she's eating, since they're so much bigger then your average pony?

I've always assumed that Celestia and Luna are truly "Ponies", but standard horses (I should know, I've owned horses to know the size difference.)
Horses are about the same height as a full grown man, and ponies are like the "dwarves" of equines.
though, one ALSO has to remember that Twilight isn't a true alicorn (having previously being a Unicorn)
so, her difference in size compared to Celestia and Luna (who ARE true alicorns) is understandable.
I am also aware that Cadance/Cadence is similar in height to Twilight (being shorter than Celestia and Luna)
but, I have read that fans speculate that Cadence may not have been a true alicorn, and was originally a Pegasus.
so..there's that.

I think It may have originated from the comic books..but, it could have originated anywhere.
Cadence past and history has never been touched upon that much, so her prior status as a Pegasus remains debatable.
although, I wouldn't be surprised if, like Twilight, she earned her Alicorn status by proving her worth as the Princess/Guardian of Love.
the one thing that irks me of Cadence is how her name is ALWAYS being misspelled as "Cadance"
Hasbro act like it's the correct spelling..but, her name is always pronounced as "Cadence"

Well, her full name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, so I'm sure her usual name is supposed to be "Cadence"

Yeah, and that's another thing that bothers me, sometimes.
if Princess Cadence can have a name like "Mi Amore Cadenza", then why do some people give me grief over naming my OC "Alex Cosmos"?!
I mean, there isn't some rule that says ALL Ponies must have outlandishly fantastic names like: "Shooting Star", "Tidal Wave" and "Whirlwind"
some CAN have simple names..like "Ed" (kudos if you get the joke that I made there)
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a little constructive criticism now and then..but, SOME people can be a tad Too Critical.

Yeah, I see your point. Just look at ponies like Lyra Heartstrings or Billy (that one brown Pegasus stallion that bullied Rainbow Dash in Sonic Rainboom)

They've hinted that TV's might excist (along with VHS, and possibly DVD and Blu-Ray) , when Twilight is attempting to teach Rainbow Dash the history of the Wonderbolts, Rainbow Dash asks.

Despite the fact that the "Hearths Warming Eve" episode showed a standard stage play in a theater..one can't ignore RD's "Movie" comment.
Fans have also made a few jokes about that, too. with one of Celestia's guards talking about going to see "Iron Stallion 3" on his break.

Well, Movie theaters have been shown to exist, remember in "One Bad Apple" during the "Babs Seed" song sequence? The Cutie Mark Crusaders were shown going to see a movie at a theater.

Given that ponies still write letters in scrolls, I don't believe they do..but, it's only a matter of time.
I mean, they have fast food chains, helicopters, an air force and their own version of "Manhatten, New York"
