I just know I'll get some complaints from this one..
but, I am just being realistic here.
Despite the fact that Celestia and Luna are Immortal,
that doesn't mean they are immune to Death.
I believe that while they have eternal youth (or, an extended longevity)
and, COULD in fact live forever (or, a very, VERY long time) if they are left alone..
they are NOT invunerable.
They can be bled, beaten.
and, quite possably killed by an adversary.
This drawing is meant to illustrate a possible end.
they sister lived for a very long time..longer than most ponies.
they were Loved and Adored.
and, gave everything for their People and Nation.
but, even they could not outrun death for very long..
one day..(long after Twilight and the other had long since died), the Reaper came for them both.
They had no more regrets..no fear of death.
they welcomed the end to their long struggles, to be reunited with their lost loved ones.
the Sun has set on their time as rulers..They are at peace.

The worst part of being immortal (or having eternal youth) is watching all your friends and family die while you live on. So I agree that when the time comes for Princess Celestia & Princess Luna to pass on, they wouldn't fight it or have any regrets.
Besides death is just another step to a greater adventure.

I have seen some fan artwork that implies the downside to Celestia's immortality/longevity.
particularly, one where Celestia was looking a photograph of the Mane Six
(the same photo shone at the end of the theme song from the earlier seasons)
and, Celestia sadly observes other aged photos of another group of young ponies.
these are presumably the other ponies who Celestia mentored, the Mane Six's "predecessors"
who have obviously long since passed (just as the Mane Six someday will), wile Celestia remains.
their Longevity is impressive..but, I doubt it will last.
sooner or later, their own bodies will wear out (or, someone will finally manage to kill them)
by then, it wouldn't matter..
like Mister Freeze, they'd probably welcome the end as a blessing.
an END to the sadness, their tortured existence.
and, most of all..be reunited with their mother and father, who have long since died.
Like Optimus Prime, they wouldn't be bothered at passing on.
they both know Equestia will be in good hooves with it's new Ruler(s)
and, That will be enough.
I know it's another Franchise entirely..
but, the only Transformer Proverb: "Til All are One" applies even here.

Everyone dies..Eventually.
But, when it comes to Ghosts and Spirits,
"Death" isn't really to be considered THE END.
One reason why when an OC of mine ended up dying in my MLP Fictions,
he went from a Common Earth Pony, to a Ghost with Powers BEYOND even Celestia 's understanding.
So, trust me when I say: "They are both in a Better Place..With their MOTHER"

But, I have No Idea whatever happened to the Lauren Faust character in the MLP Timeline
(as she is technically a Fanon character, anyone's guess could be Correct.)
My understanding is that she died long ago,
so, when I said she is in a better place...eh, You know.

and, Count Dracula is Immortal..but, he perished at the hands of many in numerous stories
and, Wolverine (whose healing factor made him outlive MANY) soon tasted death after Many, MANY years.

The game was "The Haunted Mansion"
and, by the time this happened, I was fairly used to the Horrific Stuff in Gracy Manor.
so, the final boss wasn't that horrible (and, I use "that" very loosely)

That's because the game was Stand Alone from the film,
and, took place in 1879 (after the Civil War ended, apparently)
and, dealt with the more heavy theme of Afterlife Takeover,
and, the threat of an "Afterdeath" should the villain succeed.
Plus it also had "Soul Gems" as the main collectables,
which I feel is a concept often reused in other paranormal material.

This is how I imagine the Yautja and my own "Predacats."
Biologically immortal and unable to die of "old age" (that in itself is actually impossible, old age merely triggers other things that leads to an end in life such as organ failure) but because the Predators have mastered medicine and "stopped" aging, they can only be killed in battle. I guess this is the reason they secretly hunt, in the hopes to find an end in glorious battle.
Did you know that in real life, Lobsters are like this too? They are immortal and cannot actually die, they only keep growing. So every single lobster will die either getting eaten or crushed but never of "heart attacks" or other things we die of.
Did you know jelly fishes are also immortal? They simply become young again by going back into infancy. They "de-age" themselves.

Everyone's time eventually comes..even for those that are considered "immortal".

I just made a new oc, I'm thinking of naming him prince courage c:
He needs a cutie mark but I'm working on it, he is an alicorn but hates that he is one, he uses his magic more than anything else and normally hides his wings under a cloak, he likes being a common unicorn more that a prince, his best friend and crush is snowhoof, the daughter of king galaxy and forestwolf

If he hate it that much, he could just have them removed, such a thing isn't uncommon, or unheard of.
(I've seen a few angsty Rainbow Dash artwork of RD having her wings missing, leaving distinctive 'bolt' scars on her back.)
My OC, 'Andromeda', is Twilight Sparkle's grandmother (the Mother of Twilight's mother)
She is a Ghost, and while she is technically a Unicorn..she no longer identifies herself as one.
As ALL ghosts have special powers,
she believes that as a Ghost, there are no Superiors or Inferiors..only Equals
(as even Earth Ponies can Fly, Cast Energy and do other incredible things as Ghosts)
So, when my other OC, Alex Cosmos (also a Ghost)
evolved from a common Earth Pony to an Alicorn, it mattered very little in her perception.
Andromeda is also one of the few ghosts who routinely visits Clockwork, the Guardian of Time (Yes, THAT Clockwork )

He has tried to remove them trust me, in doing so he lost his cutie mark and became slightly crazy, he was told by elder unicorns that he must have his wings to balance out himself or else he would die.
That's why he stays away from most ponies except snowhoof,
