Due to positive reception from the new DuckTales 2017 reboot series, I felt it was a good ideato most this educational meme here to show one of the reasons WHY the reboot series
is performing so well, and is considered 'better' than the original.
Before even the original DuckTales was first aired in the 1980s,
"DuckTales" already existed as a comic book in the 1950s entitled "Uncle Scrooge"
(a comic book that is STILL in publication, albeit in re-launched form.)
The comic book served as the main inspiration for DuckTales,
and some episodes were even adapted from select stories from the comic.
(Also, DuckTales led to the creation of Darkwing Duck.
So, technically we also owe this old comic book for that, too.)
As you can see, 'Uncle Scrooge' is similar to the new 2017 DuckTales reboot.
as Donald Duck also joins Scrooge, and his nephews on adventures.
So, really. the Reboot stands out for being closer to the original comics
than even the original series did, which may be one reason why it has such a positive fan response.
