Conceptional Art for a "Robin Beyond" idea I have for my soon-to-be-written 'GOTHAM 2040' story.the idea, is that if their is a Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis)
then, somewhere along the line, there outta be a Robin Beyond sooner or later.
for this design, I used "Neo Batman's" suit as reference.
removed the horn ears, altered the emblem to be Bird-like and made the glider wings straight like bird wings.
the costume's color is (suppose) to be Dark Red and Yellow (sorry, folks...NO GREEN)
as to who's wearing the suit....I don't know.
I'm thinking it may be Terry's brother MATT (Matt SHOULD be a teenager by the time Terry is an adult)
Note: when most people draw Robin Beyong, that of the hair exposed...which, ISN'T practical for a suit that's suppose to protect the wearer from hazards like Radiation.

I wouldn't say It's that horrible.
Bruce at the very least tried to apologize to Dick Grayson, and make amends in 'Hush Beyond'
his not wanting Tim Drake to be Robin seemed logical, given the circumstances behind Joker's death (It isn't like Tim was upset over it)
while Jason Todd and Damian Wayne were never really all that noble to begin with.
Still..I don't Bruce would be angry at somebody else being Robin, and helping Terry in keeping Gotham safe.
that's like Commissioner Gordon being angry at somebody becoming a new cop, or something.

Matt as Robin. That's sounds like a great idea. Though, he's unaware that his brother is Batman.

It looks decent, but a little TOO close to the Batman Beyond suit.
Maybe if we were to add elements of the Red Robin costume...

It's perfect the way it is.
if I added anymore elements, it would just look silly.
when I designed this suit, I was thinking like Bruce Wayne.
if HE were to make a Robin Suit, he's keep it simple and Practical.
the Dark Red (it's suppose to be Dark Red) makes it blend into shadows (adding green or other colors will decrease it's effectiveness)
covering the whole body gives good protection
the cape is replaced with Glider Wings
so, it won't get caught up in the jet boost exaust
and, it's frightening.
doesn't matter if it resembles the Batsuit (Bruce is using similiar technology)
NOBODY is going to confuse Robin with Batman, given the color and design alterations.
it's fine, trust me.
