Just as before..a RE-Color Billy Gilvenzan/Velocity's Super Formto showcase his Moebius counterpart Will Gilvenzan/Momentum in HIS Super Form.
I suppose I should explain the reason WHY I colored Momentum GREEN.
Well, YES. part of the reason he is greenΒ is to mirror Scourge the Hedgehog's primary color
(the same way Velocity's super form color mirrors Sonic.)
BUT, I have a deeper reason, too.
Inspired by THIS drawing , my fanon for Moebius
is that the anti-matter variation of the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald
are the "Discord Rubies", and the "Master Ruby". which are colored RED.
In Moebius, Red is the alternate color for Green in the Chaos Force.
so, Momentum (who is already dressed in Red, and has "red" hair)
turns Green when he transforms into his Super Form
(the Black-and-Red eyes is a trait shared by Super Scourge.)
as to WHY Scourge turns Purple when HE goes Super, and not Red, too?
well, just look at DC's 'The Joker' Green and Purple go together.

Where did Will get the name "Momentum" from? I know Billy got his superhero name from a failed plan to kill Sonic but where did Will get his alias from?

Probably as an insult to Billy's 'Velocity' counterpart.
In any case, the Velocity/Momentum naming
was partially based on the Vibe/Reverb naming from Season Two of The Flash.
as they both mean the same thing, but are different.
The idea being that despite being an 'evil counterpart'
I wanted Momentum to hold his own story arc like Scourge apparently did in the "Scourge: Lockdown" storyline.

That's true. Some evil counterparts are great without their twins sometimes.

One non-Sonic example of this was a few short stories by DC Comics about the Reverse-Flash,
with a few noteworthy one focusing on Eobard Thawne's backstory, with Barry Allen himself
barely making an appearance in them.
I intend to do something similar with Momentum.
telling a backstory that makes the "Evil Billy" a genuine character,
and not just some "clone", or a "just because" type of character.
he'll have a history that'll make you feel for him, despite his psychotic nature.

I was going more along the lines of Scourge's backstory,
but also a reverse of Barry Allen's childhood.
For Billy/Velocity, I envisioned his father as a doctor (like CW's Henry Allen)
while Will/Momentum's father was a successful lawyer
(and, there is this rule stated in the TV Series 'Shark'
Β "One cannot be a successful lawyer, AND a good family man.")
Like Scourge, Will is envious of Billy,
as unlike Will, Billy has a good relationship with his father.
Billy's father was also supportive of his son.
which is VERY unlike Will's father, who had high standards and expectations.
(or, to put it simply: One father HOPED his son will become a great man,
Β while another Father EXPECTED his son to be great.)

You know, despite their moral differences, Billy and Willy have something in common: they both had complicated childhoods that shaped them into who they are today. (Billy was set apart by his parents at a very young age while Will felt "apart" from his parents. Well, his father mostly).
