The Disaster/Rerun are definitely my new favorite episodes. They were spectacular.

I like how Rob, who were first being a minor background character, became an antagonist important to the storyline.

Those two episodes was really intense and serious, almost tragic, i was really surprised (in a good way).
Doing this with a show like TAWOG was so unexpected, i mean, it's "just" supposed to be a kid show with cartoon jokes, pop-culture references and society critic for some episodes. There's not supposed to have real threats on the characters, but it's the case in those eps, TAWOG crews are really genius for making that.
Plus, I've the feeling Rob will become more popular now, everyone love vilain tragical characters like him

I saw those two episodes. He's lucky that he made the right choice, because if he didn't, I would've put him on my top 10 list of characters I want terminated.

Here's the thing though. He understands enough of what's going on that he would have to eventually undo everything regardless. He wants a role he can't have. You can't just change who you are fundamentally and stay true to yourself, thus in one way or another, it would be undone.
Sorry to get complicated here but for a character aware of the 4th wall, he has to understand that "The Amazing World of Rob" is not a thing that can happen, even if he wants it to, because of those on the other side.
