It didn't work. All that I got was a couple dots. Must've done something wrong? I have version 2.09.

it is very nice but i have a question, how do you add transform? I can't find it on any of the menus.

You add a transform on the Editor window which you can get up by pressing F4. At the top of this window you have a triangle with a green plus icon; you press that to get a new transform. Hope this has helped you.

The Blob variation is on the editor window (F4) which is on a slightly purple background.

Very weird. I've done everything that the tutorial said, but after I add in the Julian, it just turns into a giant, grainy ball. Am I doing something wrong?

mfcreative In reply to BowlWheeEvil [2010-03-14 17:16:34 +0000 UTC]
A simple answer would be have you tried to play around with the colours and brightness? Also are you using Apophysis 2.08? I haven't tried this tutorial out in 3D so if you are using Apophysis 3D, this can be the issue
Hope this helps

I'm using the 2.09 version. And I can't even see the shape of a flower, but I'll try the brightness...

Which version of apophysis is this for? I have apophysis208-3D and it doesn't have blob on it.

I did this tutorial for Apophysis 2.08. Apophysis 3D hasn't got the blob variation.

oh, okay. I was wondering, because all of the windows and options looked the same, but no blob. Maybe I should be more specific with my searches...

I hate to bother you but I tried a couple tutorials and all of my stuff seems to come out right except its very messy, to many little particles sorround it.
How do I get rid of them?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
mfcreative In reply to Abstractational [2008-07-31 16:42:12 +0000 UTC]
It sounds like the image is grainy. If it is not this, I do apologize!!
On Apophysis go on to Adjust (F5) and change the Gamma amount as well as the brightness.
The image will still have a grainy look but then when you render the fractal, as long as the settings are high the fractal will look prefect.
It can take a while to render a fractal at a high set but it is worth it
I hope this has helped

Thanks a lot, it did get rid of some of the grainyness.
I have one more thing thats driving me crazy though, I only can make stuff in one color...I tried playing with all the settings but im just getting one color and thats it.

You're welcome
On the Transform Editor (F4), on the right hand side are the tabs like Triangle, Variations and Colors.
On the Colors tab, you can change each triangle to any color you like, of course you have to chose first the set of colors on the Adjust screen
then choose your Gradient.
