Description
It's frustrating when first 80% of the time you spend on a drawing your art looks bad, remember to just keep pushing.ΒRelated content

Oh my gosh I struggle with that so badly. I hate my drawing for most of it then it's not terrible at the end - glad I'm not the only one. Absolutely great process shots!

I literally would have stopped at the 6th one. I don't know how you people keep refining these types of studies.

This process picture is awesome, even looking at these without any liguistic guidelines, it gives a clear picture of how art like this is done.
(I know the feeling btw, but even more frustrating is when you're about to finish, and then you notice a flawed proportion somewhere and wouldn't feel like to start over. XD However sometimes it's those flaws that make the picture look even more stylish - depends)

Well, for flawed proportion there's always liquify and free transform :>

I can't see the bad part O_O,
did you do this in only one layer or something ?
and how did you blend them all,
this is wizard level awesomeness O_O

Yes, it's 1 layer. As for the bad part, the better you get the more flaws you see :>Β
As for blending ctrlpaint.com taught me the most.

This looks awesome! Also that description is soooo true. Sometimes I start out really bad when doing portraits and it gets frustrating but when I start not to care about making it look good the first try and just persevere it turns out better than what I expect it to be at first!
