You sick of it yet?My two cents on its type question is that it -may- be a shadowy promotional plan to launch a new light type. Hiding the type of a new Eeveelution, as much as launching that kind of massively awaited pokΓ©mon this early in the Gen are kind of suspicious and makes people's theories run wild. Then BAM! they would confirm the new type and everybody would love it even more, etc. But this could be totally wrong, since I also remember many awaited the light type to fall on Reshiram already. :T;;; We will see.
EDIT : Fairy type confirmed! Not light but still a new type!

Ah, oui, on dirait aussi les queues d'oreilles de Kyubey de Madoka Magica. C'est la mode, les appendices bizarres apparemment. Uhm, les papillons en effet, mais un peu comme tout les autres hypothèses ça reste pas hyper tranché. On verra bien. '^'
Sinon, oui, j'ai aussi lu l'article sur pokΓ©bip! Ca semble totalement plausible comme plan commercial de la part des japonais... haha;; MΓͺme si Γ§a indique peu sur le type.

My only question regarding the design of this pokemon is this: is the bow some kind of growth, or does it just show up with it evolves? Also, the ribbons. What are those made of?

YES, are these made of flesh is the true question. Flesh and thin fur. I really hope they will somehow explain it (like cubone's headset that comes from its mother of farfetched's vegetable that he founds) because if not, that will leave a lot of us with the frightening idea it's REALLY flesh. 8I

It's English name is Sylveon. Sounds like "Silvereon." Silver=metal. Therefore, I believe that it will be a Steel Type.
