Yep, but oh well, I'll try without that. The result is way past decent, I'll tell you that.

Sure thing.
The scratch brush is in this pack: [link]
and wow... for some reason I can't find the Night Sky brush pack. Look around for it, or perhaps you can find another pack with stars/specks etc.
Hope that helps out, and thanks.

Actually I found the scratch brush thanks to you ("It's called "Part 2-3 (Scratches)"") I just googled

I remember that pack now! Wow, all that time I had thought it was a default brush because it didn't have a pack name with it. And for that reason specifically I didn't use the Nightsky brush in the tutorial image.
Anyways, congratulations. You have a keen eye to find the brush in that preview image. I surprisingly haven't seen many results from this tutorial; be sure to tell people to contact me with their results, or if you know of any be sure to send me some links.

Got here from Pixl2Life, but I can't find the Nightsky Brush pack, nor can I find "The default scratches brush" for GIMP

Pixel2Life ftw! The converted Nightsky brushes are now available at [link] and... uh... i could've sworn the scratches brush came default with GIMP. It's called "Part 2-3 (Scratches)"; if it's not default I have no clue where I got it.

Hehe... I found the nightsky, but scratches... Maybe it's default with a different version of GIMP. Anyway, I finished the tut, thought it looked cool, put in a render, and then GIMP crashed
I lost it, but I'll try again someday.

C'est magnifique! The direct translation on the image is quite amazing, you even matched the color blending on the "lisez comme les pages d'un livre" part. I'll make a link to your translation on this page.

Hello ! I like your tut and I'd like to translate it in french in order to put the translation on my website (with a link to your original creation), so before to start the work I'd like to know if you agree with that...
