Description
This was done around September last year I think, it was for a local illustration competition held by a comic magazine company. The requirement was for us to draw a fanart of existing characters, preferably characters from the comics in the magazines itselves. So I drew Helios Eclipse cuz the gothical theme really attracts me!! 8D This was rather rushed though (as always XD;; ) Finished everything including sketch+lineart... took me 3 days only i think, among assignments and classes too... o3o;;The original size of this is A3, reduced to A4 for the competition XD;; Sadly I only won consolation price lol XP;;

I like this comic very much! The characters, plot and the flow is great except for book 6 and 7...
The drawing is illustrative. Beautiful and gentle strokes. Great in playing and matching tone colours. I admit that it is very nice and the drawing is suitable for the first placing.
Mineko's and Spade's face is a 'bit different than others...
Practice a lot on their eyes and nose...
Please balance the art well because Maryvessa is small and there's a lot of space there...
But, it seems that you did very well and loves by the public... Spend more time on drawing and theories about art. It could help you more...

Very nice group composition, the variety of sizes and exposure of the characters makes this unique. I also like how you colour skin, it gives it amazing definition and shape. The glow from the bottom adds a very nice touch as well!

My favourite characters in Helios Eclipse is Heart.. she's cool!!!
But, the comic's not very great, I just love the characters!!!

Great job. I've been trying to draw group pictures of my characters for quite a while now, but with limited success. -_-; Just this irritating little thing about them not always being in proportion with each other.

If you draw group composition artwork like mine, you don't need to worry about proportion between characters too much

OMG! It's Helios! >.<() I just love reading this comic! Yes, I had found a Gempak fan too! ^-^ You had drawn Hekios, Club, Spade and the other characters really well. I especially like the expression on Mineko's face. ^-^ I just love Kaoru! Kaoru is the artist who make this comic. Isn't she just great?!

Helios Eclipse isn't as great as you think, Kaoru took/copy the story from a lot of resources. Of course, I knew that after I drew the fanart. (but I drew it just for the sake of entering the competition, so you can't really say I'm a fan too)
