This is AWESOME! So very good in every sense of the word. I love the concept and how you made it, everything. The feeling you give by writing those descriptions using an old type of language. And the image... wow. GREAT!

Its rare to find a piece of art where I can think of nowhere I've seen anything like it before. With the combination of the drawing and the scrawlings of the anatomist, the result is something so intesely interesting.

This is so insane.
Not literally...well...I suppose maybe..
but the detail and image in itself is amazing and interesting and the discription in the picture make it sound more real. The parchment paper, of course, adds to the effect.
This has got to be one of the most unique pictures I've come across in Deviantart lately.
Even the thumbnail grabbed my attention an interested me.
Great job!

Wow!
..that IS super detailed!
Too bad you couldn't submit that...supposedly it doesn't matter how big the picture is on DA.
But that's so cool!
I like the intense detail even in the little balls on the 'left foot"..I think it was the left...
and the veins in the other picture.
That would be great to see the image in its actual size.

This fascinates me greatly. Lately I have been indulging my more macabre side, and this, combined with my current study of science fiction, have all led me to admire this particular piece.
This must have been quite tedious work, putting all of this together... The notes make it seem very authentic, as if this was, indeed, taken from the pages of some obscure anatomist's journal from the 1800s or thereabouts. And the notes on the bottom seem to bring to my mind but one rather ghastly conclusion as to the fate of the anatomist.
Now, I must applaud you for such excellent work, though few may understand and appreciate it. There is always beauty in the grotesque, though it takes a while for one to see it.

thank you so much for the wonderful comment... i am wondering if people both to read the writing... its essential... and i was hoping someone would make an inferance about the fate of the anatomist... ...in my own mind i like to think he contracted some disease from the disection and died... but before he did he tried to burn the journal... however something... or someone... stopped him.... haha.. thats jsut my take.
and yes it was tedious... but incredibly enjoyable.

Awesomely held together theme, in every detail. Has a bit of H.P. Lovecraft in it as well. Top notch stuff.
Q: Is that writing a font I can get ahold of?
