"And the Oracle took off away from us that day, the bastard star atop her head ready to pop and send our system back into it's comfortable chaos. She's headed for Vega, they told us. Coming straight at them like a moth in the night, reaching out for something bright and blue. It doesn't help that there is a girl of 8 working the synapses. She knows nothing yet of the universe, or the potential doom this technology's building paved way for. We must catch her. We must save the Vega system. I must right my wrong to the galaxy and take my destined place at the control of my old machine. The child is too young."

This is currently the biggest artwork I have made to this day.
It's Acrylic on 4'x 3' stretched canvas and may very well still be in progress for the next month.
It is the re-imagining of an older piece, but here is where I am at with it, right now.
This piece is currently hanging in my school gallery for the next month at Modesto Jr. College.
A piece inspired by my projects on universal flow and form replication/mimicry.

It looks so gloomy, by having the sunlight in the background it's like everything was once bright, colorful, and good. She looks so sad and broken in this image.

My mentor told me I overcrowded it with the color, but I told him that color was the only way I'd be able to represent everything that this painting and narrative was about. I hope I've done my job well.
