I have thought of a solution for you. You said you wish that you could submit this devid without people being notified of it in their watch list like it is a normal deviation.

Step 1 - Submit it to the category "My Scrapbook"

Step 2 - Click the Edit Deviation button on the right and change the category to "deviantART Related > deviantID"

Step 3 -

Most people don't watch Scraps so very few will ever notice it. And it will not even show in your gallery. It will still be located in your Scraps. When you go to your Profile page and edit the deviantID Widget it will appear in the list so you can select it.
