SO MAGICALS
Even though it's digital, it has a really nice traditional feel to it. I think it could be even cooler if you made the lineart darker though, so it looks like ink c:

OMG SAME HERE
I actually just wrote a long comment/reply to someone's comment/something in my message center about how digital art blurs the boundary that traditional tends to have, with the pro artists using the expensive nice pigments and little students using the... 'student grade' stuff.
oh ink
I guess I should be more appreciative of my high school's art department... quite a bit of supplies... Ah sorry, I don't mean to rub it in haha :'p But I am quite curious, so please share with me how the art department of your school is.

aah that's actually a pretty good point! I mean gosh art supplies are hella expensive so I'm afraid to try painting in real life x___x
omg let me raid your school's art supplies ok
my school's art supplies... err they have a lot of random stuff LOL. Like crepe paper, cardboard, random materials in boxes, random boxes of pastels and I guess, a reasonable amount of paint, so it's not that bad. (there could always be more though)
Except they, well a lot of schools in my state, focus more on the conceptual side of things (as in not idea generation or meaning but...post-modernism type stuff). Which isn't bad except they get us to try and replicate Postmodernist type artworks e.g. appropriating stuff which gets really annoying. Also we are required to do one sculpture/installation and one drawing/painting.
And sculptures are really not my thing haha..
I guess I just wish we had more freedom regarding art-making.

YEAH I KNOW
I used to do watercolours, but now with every stroke, I'm so worried about making a mistake and "losing/wasting money" that I've left my bit of supplies untouched. Poor neglected things . Now I have frequent dates with my tablet. loool
Oh man I hate those 'conceptual' art projects... aka abstract art projects... aka art that is BORING. And yes, freedom is the way to go for art classes. Dream high school art class: Draw whatever I want and use free supplies |D Though I would still like some still life exercises. I'd say my art classes are pretty good already, but the main nuisance there is that the teacher loves his own music - which is strange music that sometimes has 'songs' that consist of horror movie type screaming, non-stop - and he blasts it full volume in the art room speakers while we're doing our art 'warm-ups.' That's probably one aspect of high school I won't be forgetting |D

Wow I'm practically married to my tablet :'D
YES PERFECT ART LESSONS RIGHT THERE.
And wow... that is some very inspirational music to listen to while 'warming-up' Ha...HA... I'd imagine he probably listens to screamo when he runs.

mmm tablet
The only art supply I will ever need, ever again!! Looks like art supply stores will be out of business after another ten years... they will follow in Blockbuster's footsteps...
lololol
My white-haired art teacher listening to teenage screamo?? Now, that is a sight to behold.
