Description
My next drawing from real life ib art project, all surrounding the topic of boundary and what a boundary means to us personally. My first interpretation of boundary is an individual having some sort of restriction with the outside world or other people, and limiting themselves to the actions they want to take. For my actual piece, I wanted to show the idea of a girl (my partner) being in a state of containment but a want to be involved with people around (silhouettes of people that I will add in the background). Now going onto the title of the piece, yes I am again looking for background suggestions in color, because so far all I am thinking of is wither a very bright or very dull background. Any help is much appreciated.
media used: oil pastel

given the subject i would think you would want a brighter background probably green, yellows and oranges to contrast the purples and blues i'd do brighter because it should make the feel of her more restricted if it was more vibrant on the outside. great work so far
