The mood of this one is quite inspired by the style of various black metal albums covers.Pen & ink, tubular pen, washed ink and white acrylic for the mist! (50cm x 65cm on paper).

There's a completely hauntingly beautiful aspect to your work, very ethereal and otherworldly, but still recognisable at the same time. The monochromatic effect is amazing, very chilling and appropriate. I also like the way that you suggest the vastness of the landscape in the background, but don't need to use too much to enforce it, if you know what I mean -- a sort of watercolourist's ploy (

Wow super-sheep does it again! I really like this piece. How long did it take u to complete? and the land scape, did u hav a photo to work from? Its stunning and id really like to no how u do it.

It probably took me around 40/50 hours to do it, from the pencil sketch to the end. Usually I don't spend so much time on a drawing, but this one is bigger than my usual stuff. I don't had a photo to work from this time... Sometime I use photo references for characters, but usually I'm too lazy to search for the correct poses
