Description
Hey, all. I needed to warm up for a pic that I'm working on. This is the result. Check out 's page for the reference pics as well as other cool stuff here --> [link] . This is more of an experiment than anything else. Very loose stuff here... trying to do interesting things with light and dark shapes. I still have a lot to work on. Ha! Have a great weekend, y'all!Pencil
A big 'ol sharpie. Haha! ^_^

Pretty good, actually. I haven't really had the time (or the energy) for dA. Things with university are pretty busy.
I really like how in this you convey a lot with a real economy of line.
It's really very cool.

No prob. And I totally agree - it's a weakness I'm working on along with proper anatomy. So many things to learn, so little time.

Welcome Sometime quick drawings can be really good, because they're so spontanious...

I actually like the marker strokes in there. It gives the blackness a bit of roundness. It looks great!

Thanks very much! I was hoping it would add "a little something" to the pics overall.
Cheers!

nice one, but next time if I may suggest something, try to remove marker strokes, by increasing contrast, huh?

Thanks! Haha...I actually left the marker strokes in on purpose. I didn't like the way the higher contrast pics looked. This looks more....drawn.
Cool to hear from you, though. Cheers!

I know you did it with a purpose, but still you know me - I like dark lines and dark pics, and I think that a combination of your style with dark portraits is the best of you.
