This is the initial design I did of Pooh, the very first I did for the project shortly after I met with director Marc Forster. He entrusted me with the task of designing all the characters for the film. Amazing work as always, was it your intention to bring out the aspect of age and nostalgia in the character design by keeping the colors muted and showing all the wear and tear that they have gone through? definitely a strong melancholic feel.Β

Silly ole bear! Whenever Christopher Robin is not around, Pooh will always wait for him... He's like a Seymour of the Hundred Acre Wood. (If you're a Futurama fan like I am, you'll get the reference.)
