On my list of ideas, this one has been at the top for a long time. I love bonsai trees (and own a few) so i guess it was only a matter of time before I merged my two passions!This is modeled after the most common type of tree used in Bonsai, the Juniper. I really like those, and Japanese Maples. (Maybe that is next)
You may have noticed there are wires around her arms. Pretty much every bonsai needs to be wired to get a unique look and it is ok to display the trees in shows with the wires still on. I see it here as a metaphor to the necessity of human interaction to create 'beauty.' Now, in my opinion the female figure needs no assistance to be beautiful but a little tinkering doesn't hurt.

I like the idea and the pictures looks good. Though when I read tree of life and saw the woman, I thought she should be pregnant to underline the life-giving. But maybe that's too weird to have a pregnant tree XD

This is just fantastic. With that base, it almost seems as if she's in perpetual growth, as if she's hatched. I think I would have liked an asian model better, but she's beautiful.
