Description
The theme here is ~ 'being surrounded by beauty but filled with misery on the inside.'As you can see she's not being pushed into the water, as is you would expect but instead she wants to jump, to escape the misery of her life as a captive at sea.
In a way this relates to the Greek myth of Cassandra (whose name means - bringer of doom) who had a tragic, untimely death brought on by her own madness. There's also a song about a girl named Cassandra who left on a ship after the death of her sister and father so obviously, the name fit well.
I've considered writing a story based on this climatic image. Maybe I will one day.

I love the work you did with the wood of the ship, but I think her hands are a tad too small.

At first you see all the beauty this piece contains: the harmonious colours in the sky, the gentle sea, the grainy wood on the ship and finally the gorgeous woman in the center. You marvel at all this beauty, but notice the woman's stiff pose and realize that all is not as it seems. That's when you get it. <3

Ah, good ol' Cassandra. She always was part of my favorite myth. I love her pose. She looks proud and unafraid even though she is about to throw herself into the deep. Very nice.

I always loved Cassandra from Greek Mythology. The moment she says something is the moment that nobody believes it.
I dont know what shes talking about, I think that would be cool XDD!
"You SHOULDNT bring me that cookie ."
Its like the first example of reverse phycology!
But I digress.
The colouring is beautiful, the sky is beautiful. The water is beautiful, the girl is beautiful. My favorite part is probably the lighting
The only suggestion I have is try and make the hair flow more. The way it clumps and then goes into strings makes it look a little weird. Perhaps have a few more free strands.
BEAUTIFUL <3!

I had thought that Cassandra was killed by Clytemnestra, Agamemnon's wife, when he returned from Troy. Whatever the caused her death, pirates or psychotic Greek queen, this is a lovely image. Maybe if the foreground, the ship, were darker it might add to the feeling of death as release.

I love the V shaping that draws in the eye, and the stunning hues.
Her hair still seems a little flat, and is one of her feet off the side of the plank?
Beautiful.
