It has been a long time since I have uploaded an image into a new category. This was a nice change of pace.I turned 30 not too long ago and I've felt a tug to change things up a bit and see what else I can accomplish for the next decade.
This piece was inspired by the image Iron Curtain [link] I did a few weeks ago. I still love the classical arts (and oil paintings of horse racing have always intrigued me) but I always felt that art is best displayed as something that cannot be seen in the real world. There should be some element of fiction and fantasy that needs more than a camera to be recreated.

This is gorgeous! Your painting style is beautiful, and to see it paired with horses (my favorite!) is just too awesome for me not to comment on! I love the colors you incorporated throughout the picture, especially on the horses' hides. Really neat concept, and very well done!
