Grief can take many forms.Healing can take many forms.
What took hold in the Professor, was not a good coping style, nor was it helpful.
Overzealous Heroics and Single Minded thinking.
Pretending he was the original for a time, and when facts wouldn't line up in his way, he went deeper and deeper into trying to be the "Perfect Hero."
It was only a matter of time, before his actions would catch up to him.
