Description
Here we have the original cover as drawn in 1984 by Kevin Eastman one of the original creators of the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...next to it we have the same cover drawn by Bob Raymond as a way to pay respect to one of the greatest creators of all timeI was very honored that Bob let me ink this for him, I had a really great time inking it and I hope to ink alot more of Bob's work.

Your inks are so dang clean, tight, and you make excellent use of proper line weights and black spotting!
By chance, do you know if Bob has the pencils posted anywhere? I checked out his DA gallery and didn't see them, but I'd love to see how tight his pencils were on this. His other stuff is beautifully tight and clean, I'm just being a nosy inker and would love to see the pencils on this particular piece. ^_^;

I think that Bob has it posted over at his Facebook page...just look for him under Bob Raymond from Maine and you should find him or look on my friends list for him as well.

This is amazing. @_@ Your inks are perfectly filled and dramatic. Taking today's "newer" turtles and putting them in the place of the old while still paying homage to it. The old TMNT fan in me feels awed.

Great result. When I went to comicon in 2009, I had my 25th Anniversary TMNT hardcover signed by bEastman, with a sketch of Leo on the inside. These characters are as important to modern comics as Spider Man or Batman.
