Description Dragonfly... Dedicated to my dearest friends who learned recently that I can be quite ambitious and quite aggressive in the same time... My apologies here.

Not for stock, not for manipulation, want it - pay for it.

It's not the sky but reflection of it in water... Don't ask how I got that effect, because I just don't know... Old russian lenses are full of surprises.

This is a sky refelction in the water (or I think it is that).

Thanks Devin - glad to see You alive.

beautiful macro, and I don't see anything wrong with the focus either. Again your shot is of a quality and sharpness I can only dream of - very well done. The shot seems close to being overexposed, just ont he upper limit, but then again, that could be my screen, the one here at work isn't really calibrated...

MichalTokarczuk In reply to Araantonak [2006-06-25 15:36:48 +0000 UTC]

Solution: Check for RGB values of #FFFFFF or near - how much I have that in the pic (don't measure the frame) - and how much flat areas I have there ?

What can You name "overexposed" here then ? [sorry, I'm fighting with everybody who is shooting around with: "overexposed!", "underexposed!", "out-of-focus!". they're such nice people...]

I used to catch dragonflyes when I was a kid...and gave them to a little neighbor of mine . He liked to eat them..alive.
excelent focus technique

The comment above Yours states that there's something wrong with focus here. I'm puzzled.

That's a very nice story... How did You catch them ? I'm curious...

Kurcze, zdjęcia z tego egzemplarza Taira są coś nieostre.... jak na razie chyba żadne ze zdjęć nie miało zadowalającej ostrości....a to przecież naprawdę jest świetne szkło.....

MichalTokarczuk In reply to MarcinT [2006-06-18 18:50:42 +0000 UTC]

Zapnij pierścienie makro do TAIRa i ustaw ostrość. A potem zrób zdjęcie z ręki.

Zaskakuje mnie ten ruski sprzęto coraz bardziej.

Dzięki za fava.

I like the background, the colors of the sky is really similliar to the color of the dragonfly! Also like the simplicity of this!

And to be honest it's water (or sky reflection in water) as I recall the angle of my rifle... Strange russian lenses transforms the reality into fables.

Thanks.
