Portrait in acrylics.I like this portrait alot, probably because it's my first one in acryllic paint that turned out half decent anatomy wise and I like how his eyes and lips turned out ( I know some parts are not right and his head looks really big) It was quite a struggle and I repainted the whole thing half way through.
The reference was a photo of a greek/roman statue..but it turned out nothing like it in the end

That's what i love about digital too! Sometimes when i'm painting i feel like screaming UNDO!! but i'd think the people in my class would look at me funny

his expression is great.
and the blue tones are fabulous with the washed out background.
i like it alot. though i think the tiny white border takes something from it.
