Description An Abstract work from paint class. We used pastels on a paint background. I was trying to use flowing lines and flame shapes and i thought i would just see where it led..The people from my class thought it looked like some mythological sea creature, i thought that was kinda cool.
I would really like to hear your interpretations!

pastel is zo heerlijk om mee te werken, de kleuren worden zo mooi en je kunt het zo goed uitvegen.

dit ziet er echt prachtig uit.

looks like a great sea dragon bursting forth from the dark beneath
spewing flames into a new day.

:: nods :: It sort of reminded me of a half-mermaid, half bird on fire. It looks really good, and I love the flowing lines and the contrast in the colors. I love working with pastels, but nothing ever seems to come out as nice as this.
