What technique did you use for the second and fourth pics?

I have to edit the colors because the original pic ist just monchrome. I work with photoshop on two color levels (f.e. blue and pink) and after crop the sky.

Just shows you what you can find if you look hard enough.

I especially like the second.

A well executed idea!

Out of interest, what filter do you use, the Hoya IR filter, or the Cokin 89B?

I currently use the Cokin, but I'm thinking of switching, as the Hoya, from what I've seen, seems to produce results that are a bit more malleable.

I use a cheap no name IR-Filter (950nm - ebay) + sometimes a grey filter if the contrast is to strong...

I like the bottom one. How do you get infrared pictures?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MichiLauke In reply to LadyEdana [2007-04-03 14:03:01 +0000 UTC]

I put an infrared lense on my camera which filters the visible light off and let pass only the unvisible infrared light. At home I am editing the green colors of the infrared picture with photoshop...

Oh ok. I bet that's an expensive lens.

I bought my no name IR-lense with ebay (about 20 US-Dollar) - it is not so expensive...

LOL Ok. So I might be able to pick one up through my work, eventually... (I work for a freight recovery company doing eBay listing).

cool work...i like the second one most, the contrast between blue and pink. it's artificial of course, but that's what's striking^^
